Living Sensibly in a World That Does Not Always Make Sense

1. You must learn to live sensibly in a world that does not always make sense.

A. When you observe injustice, remember that God is the final judge. Ecclesiastes 3:16-17

B. When you are faced with your own mortality, remind yourself to enjoy life. Ecclesiastes 3:18-22

C. When you witness oppression, comfort those who are oppressed. Ecclesiastes 4:1-3

D. When you get caught up in human rivalry, take some time to relax. Ecclesiastes 4:4-6

E. When you are lonely, find a friend. Ecclesiastes 4:7-12

 F. When you experience a season of popularity, do not expect it to last. Ecclesiastes 4:13-16

2. Three principles that will help you live sensibly the next time the world does not make sense to you.

A. Draw near to God with a learner's heart. Ecclesiastes 5:1

B. Stay calm because God is in control. Ecclesiastes 5:2-3

C. Keep your word because God does not forget.  Ecclesiastes 5:4-7
